ASU Promotes 14

Angelo State University will soon have 14 new professors after associate professors from across the college’s departments were approved for promotions. The promotions come into effect on Sept. 1, after their new ranks are finalized by the Texas Tech University System Board of Regents during its recent regular meeting in Wichita Falls. Five faculty members were promoted from associate professor to professor. Nine faculty members were promoted from assistant professor to associate professor and granted tenure.
