Former SAISD Superintendent Dr. Carol Ann Bonds Passes Away

Former San Angelo ISD superintendent Dr. Carol Ann Bonds succumbed to her battle with cancer Saturday evening at home. She had thirty-five years of combined service in education, and was named Texas Region XV Superintendent of the Year in 2010. She also served on the Air Force Chief of Staff’s Civic Leader Program and Air Education Training and Command Program. She continued to be a celebrated leader for the community and was named citizen of the year in 2015. Arrangements are pending.
