Monday evening, a County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy was driving
home when a vehicle traveling on South Tyler unsafely went
through the intersection, nearly striking another vehicle, with
the Deputy directly behind witnessing it. The Deputy attempted
to conduct a traffic stop, and the vehicle evaded. After a short chase
through the neighborhood, the vehicle stopped, and the driver, later
identified as 19-year-old Isiah Aguilera of Houston exited and ran.
Two female passengers also left the vehicle. Aguilera briefly hid, and
a perimeter was set and He again attempted to run but was caught
and taken into custody with the assistance of the San Angelo Police
Department. Aguilera had a Harris County warrant Robbery. Deputies
later located both women at a nearby residence and werev interviewed.
Aguilera was booked into Jail for Evading Arrest Detention and the
Harris County Robbery warrant.
