Two Police Chief Candidates File to Run for Chief

City election officials say two candidates have now filed so far to

run for the position of San Angelo Police Chief in the May Election.

San Angelo Police Lieutenant Christopher Cimino filed on

the 24th, and Sargeant Travis Griffith filed on Monday. One other

officer haa announced he is vying to take the place of Chief Frank

Carter, Mike Hernandez, but as of  Yesterday He has not filed with

the city to be on the May ballot. Candidates have until February 16th

to file to run.
